2025/26 Women’s FA Cup: Millot Pokuaa bags brace as Hasaacas destroy Jonina Ladies to reach final

Hasaacas Ladies marched into the Women’s FA Cup final with a clinical 3–0 victory over Jonina Ladies at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday.

From the opening whistle, the “Dooo Ladies” asserted their dominance, utilizing their tactical experience to stifle Jonina’s energy.

The deadlock was broken early in the 6th minute when Millot Abena Pokuaa capitalised on a defensive lapse. After a sharp attacking move down the flank, Pokuaa found herself in space and calmly slotted the ball home to give Hasaacas an immediate 1–0 advantage.

Jonina Ladies struggled to find a rhythm as Hasaacas maintained a high press. Before the halftime break, Millot Abena Pokuaa struck again to double the lead in the 38th minute.

Showing her poaching instincts, she reacted quickest to a loose ball in the box to bag her brace, leaving Jonina with a mountain to climb.

Throughout the second half, Jonina attempted to transition quickly, but the Hasaacas backline remained resolute, cutting out through balls and dominating the aerial duels to protect their two-goal cushion.

As the match entered its final stages, Hasaacas put the result beyond doubt. In the dying minutes of the game, Mary Opoku Ndali finished off a fluid team move to score the third goal, sealing a comprehensive 3–0 win.

This dominant performance ensures Hasaacas Ladies a spot in the grand finale against Army Ladies, keeping their quest for silverware firmly on track while proving their status as a powerhouse in Ghanaian football.
